PowerShell Command Editor

Where we can write PowerShell Commands?
If SharePoint Server is running we can write PowerShell Commands with the two ways
1> Start Menu --> SharePoint 2010 Management Shell
2> From command prompt write: PowerShell

We can check the list of installed snap-ins by using this command:

Get-PSSnapIn
